The story in 60 seconds

01 · Problem

What was stuck

Building trust in a market with limited digital banking history means agent networks and cash rails matter as much as UI polish. Messaging must respect dollarization without ignoring CDF.

02 · What we did

How we shipped

Product narrative as Apple-Wallet-meets-Cash-App for Kinshasa: virtual/physical Visa, dual currency, agency banking. Emphasized licence and Visa/Ecobank partnerships as proof of rails.

03 · Takeaway

Why it mattered

In a cash-and-dollar economy, the agent down the street is part of the product.

DRC’s economy runs heavily on USD cash. VaultPay’s licence (not a bank partnership wrapper) and Visa distribution ambitions make it infrastructure, not just an app skin.
